Just happened to read about Jeff's passing. I'll always remember when he said to me, "Hi Suzanne! Good to see you back!" when I'd return each year from Seattle to volunteer with YA in Tuolumne Meadows. He made me feel welcome and I couldn't figure out how he remembered my name. A great guy - I am sorry I cannot come down for his memorial - but when I come to the Sierras I'll always think of him. My regards to his family. May you be comforted in his memory.
